ERE - Empirical Research in Economics is a non-profit organization aimed at raising public and private funds to collect databases for applied economics research. In line with the non-profit nature of the organization, funds are only devoted to provide our research teams (made of internal and/or external researchers) with the necessary resources for data collection.

Our organization fosters the idea that data are public goods, and that it is in the interest of the whole society that they become available to the largest number of researchers. Therefore, after an initial use by our research teams, the databases will be made available to the whole scientific community through our website.
